Weird switch behaviour
I've got a Netgear JGS524PE switch which is behaving weirdly. I have a 2.5Gb QNAP switch which I'm attaching to it. Every port I attach it to it seems to kill the port. Same wall socket I can connect to with a laptop and it works fine but as soon as I plug in the QNAP switch then nothing. And if I plug the laptop in again afterwards then nothing as if the port has been killed.
I can run a long cable to another wall socket and the QNAP switch works fine. Is there anywhere I can find more information about what is going on and perhaps re-enable the ports?

Any loops created connecting this undefined QNAP switch (exact model, firmware version if available)?
Do the JGS524PE ports recover when doing a cold reboot?
