Add computer to GS108PP PoE switch?
I have my 4 PoE cameras connected to my GS108PP PoE switch. Can I connect my new Windows desktop computer to the switch? Will the switch slow down my computer? Thank you.
The switch won't slow down the computer. Keep in mind that the camera video streams will be transported on the same links and ports, e.g. to your Internet router for example, so shared bandwidth.
Even if connecting the new PC direct to your router, the bandwidth will be shared.
