cctv problem
New router sent by my ISP, an Eero 6. Only two ports in it, 1 for landline phone and 1 for fibre connection. My old router had enough ports for my CCTV data cable without the need for a separate ethernet switch. So, I bought Netgear GS105 v5 switch so that fibre, CCTV data cable and landline are hooked up. All OK except that with CCTV data cable plugged in, the app doesn't work on my Android phone, it just shows camera offline. The app is Hik Connect 6 for my CCTV. Any ideas as to why it doesn't work would be appreciated.

Make sure you're wiring the fibre line directly to the eero and then the 2nd port on the eero to the switch. With devices then connected to the switch. The fibre needs to be ran to the eero directly to be managing dhcp/nat.
