Oliver,
Hard to say what issue we're facing here.
The GS108T exists in at least three hardware versions - check the product label exactly, also compare to the https://netgear.com/support/ details when looking-up the GS108T(v1), GS108T(v2), and GS108T(v3) - just enter GS108T there to browse the different versions.Note there are also many other GS108 models - unmanaged, configureable Plus ("E"), anbd Smart Managed "T" models.
If the other is really a GS105 - note there are GS105, GS105v5, GS105E, GS105E(v2), and a GS105PE. Again please compare the product label and the images from the support page above - just enter GS105 there to browse the different versions.

What could be the root cause for those performance values?
Typical cause (>99% of the issues) are wiring and cabling related. Very few are some interoperability problems, rarely hardware failures.

SmartControlCenter v1.1.3.4 doesn't find any switch in my network.
SCC is a legacy thing for old and old-old switches.
Start with the NETGEAR Switch Discovery Tool (NSDT) which does identify all decent Plus and Pro switches.
Ensure the undefined GS108T is on a current firmware (matching the hardware of course), and try a factory reset.
