Hi ,
i am wanting to purchase a GS308EP switch.
Wanting to know if this switch will work without Power ( if need to only connect computer to router) ?

Its needs power to operate.
If you're only going computer to router, why use a switch at all?
IEEE standard PoE is part of a link negotiation, there is no risk when plugging non-PoE devices like router or computers - there won't be PoE power enabled unless requested by the peer.
