Modem ethernet to switch not working
My office has a hardwired ethernet outlet. I get connectivity if I plug a device (computer, Xbox and tv) directly in the outlet. My issue is if I connect my GS108 switch to the outlet I have no intern...

I am sure that Calix Gigaspire Modem/Router has a model number on it somewhere. Most likely on the nameplate.
I am not at all familiar with the Calix series of devices. Recommend you look into the user configuration to see if a setting is preventing assignment of IP addresses through your switch.
Do you know who initially setup the Calix modem/router?
Is your internet service delivered over coax, fiber, something else?
My ISP setup the modem/router and it is fiber.

Kitsap County?Since your ISP set up your modem/router, they would be the first point of contact to ask about connecting a switch downstream of one of your Ethernet outlets.
