Netgear GS208 Switch No Longer Working

I have had this switch for over a year (and it is out of warranty and no longer eligible for support, including telephone support) and it has stopped working.  The power light comes on but none of the port lights illuminate and none of the devices attached connect to the network.

 

I have tried turning the switch off and back on using the power switch and it still doesn't work.  Previously when the power was cycled, all of the port lights flashed briefly, however that no longer occurs when the power is cycled.

 

I connected the switch to my computer and the computer does not recognize the switch as attached and the ethernet adapter media state shows MEDIA DISCONNECTED.

 

Are there any other troubleshooting steps I can take or any recommendations or suggestions.

    Based from what you have described in your post, there is a hardware fault on the GS208 and it needs to be replaced.
