Netgear GS308v3 does not pass DHCP when using a Corsair Docking Station

We are connecting GS308v3 switches to our Cisco switch infrastructure and then connecting Corsair Docking Stations to the NetGear Switch as well. When connecting a Mac or a PC to the Docking station we get APIPA (169.254.XXX.XXX) addresses. There is a link light on the docking station. The operating system sees an active connection but DHCP repeatedly fails.  If we remove the NetGear from the equation then the Corsair has no problems connecting on Mac or PC. If we remove the Corsair Docking Station from the equation and connect a Mac or PC to a USB Belkin network adapter and then to the NetGear then we are able to connect. We do not get errors when we use other network switches (like a NetGear GS105).  On the Cisco side there is no port security configuration at all.

Has anyone ever seen this issue before?

It shouldn't cause any issues as the GS308v3 is a simple unmanaged switch. It doesn't do any packet inspection or anything.

If you tried it with a different switch from the cisco, does it work?

We have tried with Linksys, TP Link and a Netgear GS105 and get connections on those devices.

      Thank you for the reply.
