Re: Does GS308PP include a DHCP server ?
Hello NETGEAR Community,
I want to connect several PoE-enabled devices to a network switch, and I got GC110P recommended.
* Main Purpose: Surveillance IP PoE-enabled 4K cameras as "CCTV" solution.
Therefore, the features I need for any network switch (at least) are:
1. IP addresses automatically provissioning (DHCP server embedded).
2. Gigabit speed.
3. PoE (I don't know how much max power is required)
** No VLANs, QoS are needed.
1. Does this model meet these requirements ?
2. What is the best recommendation for me on Network Switch (based on my need) ?
** I'm looking for just buying a single device that meets all the requirements as the most efficient cost solution; This means avoiding buying additional router.
Your advice is welcome.

How many PoE cameras, what PoE requirements per camera, how do you intend to access this CCTV system, how to configure, manage, ... the magic, how you plan to use PoE cameras, .... how does this closed network get time, send alerts, ...?
