What is all connected to the switch?
What kind of CAT# LAN cable are you using? CAT6A STP is recommended.
What is the brand and model# of the host router and NAS you have connected to it?
Do LEDs show anything when this happens?
What other switches do you have connected down stream from the XS switch?
What is happening when the switch seems to fail?
Using the SFP port any?
What happens if you connect your NAS to the host router and some other devices to the host router and then try the XS switch alone with some other devices connected to it? See if the switch works alone with out all other switches connected to it for a time.
I have had a 505M for past couple of years and it's never failed. Other GS110MX and GS308 series switches down stream from the XS. Dish Hopper system and Orbi system connected to the XS switch on one segment from the host router. A GS series switch connected on a different segment behind the host router that services my main home network along with NAS.
