Netgear does highly belief and trust in the quality of these switches. Otherwise, they would never offer a limited lifetime warranty
Warranty for products with ProSAFE Limited Lifetime Warranty, except for Fully Managed Switches, ends five years after the product is listed as NETGEAR Business Products "End of Life" or EOL. As of today, only the XS505M are listed, probably due to lack of demand.
