FVS318G classic mode
I've done a search but can't find this answer. I want to put the device into classic routing. It says in manual select radio to change but what I'm not clear on is would the LAN IP (on the netgear) be the same as the WAN IP (on the netgear) so that the servers connected on the LAN side with public addresses can talk to it (same subnet)?
Sounds simple but it is not mentioned anywhere and if I should do something different I won't be able to access the web control panel once it has accepted the change.
I assume if this is the right procedure I'll have to set rules to allow inbound Http, smtp to the servers attached to the LAN side of the router before they can be reached from the internet?

- Classic Routing is set in the WAN Mode screen. Classic Routing only applies where you have routeable IP ranges on BOTH sides of your interfaces, otherwise you have to use NAT if you only have a routable IP on the WAN side.
