[FVS318G] MAC bandwidth limit
Hi,
is there a way to limit trafic on the WAN port for a specific MAC address ?
The user is using Wifi with a home Netgear access point (WPN802).
From Wifi, one user is eating all the bandwidth.
There's no Layer 2 switch.
It seems the bandwidth profile on the router can't do this.
No rules available on the hotspot.
Do you see another way to do it ?
Thanks,
Vincent

- aditMentorPut the MAC in Group2, give it a reserved IP. Create the "Group" Bandwidth Profile. Create an Outbound "Any" Rule (or whichever protocols you want to restrict), Group2 as LAN Users, and select the Bandwidth profile you created.
- nolmeAspirantHi,
I've added both MAC in Group2 from :
Network Configuration -> LAN Settings -> LAN Groups
Then I've create a bandwith profile in :
Security -> Bandwidth Profile
Which I called Group2 :
Outbound : 128-512
Inbound : 128-512
Type: Group
Direction : Both
I don't find the location to link MACs to its profile. :/
Thanks,
Vincent
