Other than the case, is there any major difference between FVS336Gv1 and FVS336Gv2?

Makes me worry that if a V3 comes out then my V2 will no longer get firmware updates, or is it just that the V1 has been superseded by the V2 for so long now that the V1 updates have been closed off?
