PR60X Exium SASE customer feedback / observations

Recently added a PR60X as my home router. Considering adding Exium SASE license for additional security. The recurring  annual license(s) required are not inexpensive, especially for a home user. I would like to get some feedback/observations from current or past users/customers before committing.

Looking for information  about:

  1. Features
  2. Configuration
  3. Administration
  4. Usability
  5. Value

    Hi Rusty,

Thanks for reaching out about the new Netgear Exium SASE license.

If and when you activate the SASE license for your PR60X within Insight you'll get 90 days of service at no charge - your primary risk at that point will be obsession with the added visibility and protection, thereby becoming unable to live without it...  ;D

The documentation housed at exium.net/exium-academy should answer most of your questions.

The primary differences between the Cloud Native Cybergateway (CGW) agent and the version running on PR60X are around configuration - for example, with the PR60X, Insight is used for configuration of VLANs, redundant WAN links, etc. whereas with the Cloud Native CGW, all network parameters are configured within the Exium portal itself.

Don't hesitate to reach out with further questions here in the forum or via e-mail at [email protected]
