If the client computers and the system hosting the SQL server are all on the LAN side of the netgear, the problem is not caused by the netgear, but is more likely related to your ip addressing.
Second - you mention your router is at 192.168.1.1 and the netgear is at 192.168.0.2 - you obviously have two routers in the one network - this is a recipe for grief unless you have the network experience to properly configure your equipment - get rid of one.
