Hi GaACETech,
Having the FVS318N deployed at the main office and another one at the remote warehouse would be just fine. Since the cable modem you have seems to be a combination of wireless router and modem, it should be configured to full-bridge mode so that the WAN IP Address will be registered to the FVS318N as a requirement for VPN connection. Take note that the wireless function of the cable modem- router cannot be use once its configured to full-bridge mode.
About the simulator, it seems that the one available is for the FVS336G. You may check it here then try to navigate.

Hi GaACETech,
You may choose on the ProSAFE VPN Firewall Series (FVS318N, FVS318Gv2, FVS336Gv3 and SRX5308). Kindly check the specifications of each VPN firewall and their comparison on the data sheet here.
Just to add, click on the article here about configuring a Box to Box VPN on ProSAFE/ProSECURE routers using the VPN Wizard.

Thanks so much.
I was thinking of using two of the ProSAFE FVS318N; one at the main office (replacing the older model) and one at the remote warehouse. Any problems with this?
I know that the cable provided modem with Wi-Fi will need tweeking to turn off Wi-Fi and maybe turn on/off bridging.
Did I see on the website a simulator for there software and hardware?
(Sorry. My typing is under the influence of cold medicines... )
Thanks, Darryl

Viewing the documentation it states that the FVS318N - a future concern comes to mind -
There will be a remote work force that will need access to the file server. With a Sonicwall access licenses can be used. Is there such a device in the Netgear line where multiple remote users can access the VPN router for access to the private network. Or being a MS Server 2012R2, of course remote desktop connector can be used.
Are there other ways for this traveling group to get access? Note my original task is just to attach a remote warehouse to the main office server.
Thanks as always,
Darryl
