Prosafe 8-port gigabit vpn firewall
I have a question I like to ask before I go and buy this item the question is the item PROSAFE 8-PORT GIGABIT VPN FIREWALL FVS318G will this work with windows 8 because we have 4 computers 2 use xp one use wndows 7 the new one use windows 8 I am using the prosafe 5 port 10/100 desktop switch to hook my computers to and I see in the booklet u can hook the well it shows the old FVS318 but now theres the new one but anyway that is my question being all new computers using windows 8 thank u

- The router doesn't know or care what OS is running on the computers - android, Linux, Windows 3, XP, 7, 8 - it's all the same as long as they have a tcp/ip network stack it'll work.
- Personally read FVS318G thread. You need to digest yourself to see if that is what you want. FVS318N as well but user has some bias.
ANY O/S will work so probably reading thread and review is your best bet. - you may want to read this thread first before buying:

it would appear the intermittent connection loss is not fixed.
