Problems connecting to SQL server on Lan ( FVS318N)

Thanks for your prompt response.
TCP/IP its enabled and the windows firewall its disabled also none of the computers belong to a Domain but just a basic windows work group.
Until now I have been using just a normal hub and all the problems do appear when I swap it by the netgear firewall.
I'm a bit confused since everything else is working just fine also if I do replace the netgear firewall for my old hub everything works again.
Could it be an IP problem? My router IP is 192.168.1.1 , the netgear firewall is 192.168.0.2, I have tested deactivating NAT with the same result.
