really slow internet speed over FVS318G
hi
I have 100Mbps over internet cable connection.
FVS318G SNMP is connected to the cablecom modem, but the download speed is just 15Mbps.
If I try to connect my PC or my notebook to the cable modem directly, then I get 100Mbps.
How is the max download speed over FVS318G router with firewall enabled?
BTW what happens if I try to change from NAT to Classical Routing between WAN & LAN interfaces, it will disable firewall?

- jmizoguchiVirtuosothis router does NOT handle 100Mbps on WAN sides
WAN-LAN throughput spec is listed at spec page of product page at netgear.com.
I let you look at figure yourself.. - ccccAspirantThx, then I must buy a new firewall router.
BTW which Netgar firewall VPN Router with Gigabit ports can handle 100Mbps on WAN sides? - jmizoguchiVirtuosohighest is 95Mbps...
FVS538 , FVS318N (new products)
if you want over 100Mbps for future needs go to prosecure (prosecure.netgear.com) - aditMentorSRX5308 (close to Gb speed) and a few of the UTM's (UTM9S - 95-130Mbps, not on the streets yet)(UTM25/50/150). You can check the rest of the specs here. http://prosecure.netgear.com/overlays/utm.php
