SRX5308 and DSL on WAN2

Rollover works well now. When WAN 1 failed the other day our DSL kicked in perfectly. DDNS made sure our local Exchange kept working as needed.
However, when the WAN1 came back up, the router never switched back from WAN2 to WAN1. After 20 minutes, I manually rebooted the router to get it back to using WAN1. I am using the default method of checking for WAN failure.
Why does this happen and how can we make sure the router switches back to WAN1 when it is up. In our case WAN 1 connection is about 5 times faster than what we have on WAN 2.
