SRX5308 box-to-box with Linux server

Hello everybody! :smileyhappy:

I need advice from community - I have SRX5308 and should make VPN tunnel but there is only one device so I can't use "box-to-box" configuration. So the question is: can I use configuration looks like "SRX5308<--->Internet (VPN)<----->Linux server"? And if it's possible - what software should I use on the Linux side? May be there are some examples of such configuration - can you give me a URL? :smileyhappy: Thank you.

    Hi flatiron_80,

    Welcome to the community! :)

Let me share this forum link below:

    https://community.netgear.com/t5/VPN-Firewalls/FVS336G-v3-and-Watchguard-XTMv-Site-to-Site-VPN-Configuration/td-p/1118373

From the link above, the forum user has configured a box-to-box VPN between an FVS336Gv3 and a WatchGuard XTMv and encountered a problem.  I am sharing the forum link above because I have found out that the WatchGuard XTMv is a virtual machine that runs on Fireware.  Fireware is an operating system of WatchGuard based on Linux.   You may send a private message to the community member who authored the forum link above for further details.

As for now, let us wait for other community members that might have experience having a box-to-box VPN with any NETGEAR VPN Firewall and a Linux Server to post here on this forum thread.

    Regards,

    DaneA
