Srx5308

Hi,

I am trying to set up a srx5308 so that Wan1 is the main connection, with a dsl connection for wan2 rollover. Wan2 connects to the internet when there is a direct wired connection, but if I remove wan1, Wan2 goes down too. I would like Wan2 to maintain connection if/when wan1 goes down.

Thanks

    Hi Zakzak20,

    Welcome to our community!

WAN Rollover may take about a minute before it goes up. If you notice in the admin page, WAN 2 is down if it is set to rollover. It will not show any WAN IP unless you remove the cable from WAN 1. Does the WAN 2 port lights up right after you remove the cable from WAN 1? Please make sure that the firmware is up to date. If it's still not working right after the firmware update, you may try resetting it to factory default and reconfigure the rollover feature again.

You may check this documentation for reference.
