I am trying to enable SSL VPN on FVS336G. I have taken the trouble to obtain a certificate, and I have registered a corresponding domain that resolves to the static IP address of my router.

Using IE on Windows 7. Reason I am pursuing this is I have a user who has upgraded (?) to Windows 10, and his IPSEC client no longer works.
Thanks for any help.

Hello macounwr,
It is either you have a version 1 hardware of the FVS336G or the firmware you are using is way behind. The certificate you uploaded looks good to me, remove the VPN configuration and run it using the instructions on this link.
Hope this one helps, if you have more questions feel free to ask.
Thanks,

My router is a version 1, and the firmware I am running is the latest version available.
I clicked the link, but I was presented a login challenge, and it is apparently different than my login for this forum, so I was unable to get to it.
Can you please post the instructions here?
Thanks,

Hello macounwr,
Sorry, I missed removing the login form. The link should be accessible now, it is a bit long and contains some images so it is much better to be opened on another tab/window.
I'll look forward to your response.
Thanks,

In fact, I followed a script like this in setting up SSL VPN, and I am in fact able to log in, and get to the screen with the VPN Java applet. I get messages along the way saying the certificate is not good, but I can step past them by accepting the risks.
When I get to the Java app, however, it does not seem to met me override the block, which is why I was trying to figure out what was bad about the certificate.
I will do screen shots of the specific messages tomorrow, and post them.
Thanks again for helping me solve this.
