VPN Question

I’ve had the Netgear for quite a while and have used OpenVPN on it for years.  I just got a couple of new computers in the office and when I tried to download and set up the VPN on them it wasn’t working.  I normally have to relearn how to set it up each time I do it, but when I looked at this time it seems that OpenVPN is no longer free and that a minimum of 10 license has to be purchased to use it at all.  Let me know if you think I’m missing something.

I looked at Nord VPN which seems to be the top pick on most review sites, and sells one license at a time, but the router firmware has to be flashed to utilize it.
