Is this X550 a router product name (in this case please provide details like product manufacturer, exact model, and firmware version in place) or are you talking of the WBE750?
Before wasting any time: Does your router have some VLAN support, or at least a separated Ethernet port connecting to a different network, IP subnet (or VLAN)?
