how to change regions on WAX202
Does anyone know how to change regions on WAX202? Mine is grayed and still lock on North America, just want to switch into AU.

Wireless products are region locked due to specific restrictions per country/region on frequency/channels.
Did you purchase it online? You might have purchased a WAX202 set in North America, the usual product name/SKU would be WAX202-100NAS. If you are in Australia you have to find a product that is for the said country/region (WAX202=100AUS). Like this one.

Yes, my cousin bought it from Amazon, I reckon all the products from Amazon gonna be US version right?
not really sure about that with Amazon but most of the products are for the US region but there is amazon.com.au that might be specific with AU products. I would definitely suggest checking out the link I gave or other online IT stores in AU.

This is not something Netgear does define randomly: It's a requirement that consumer devices sold in the US under FCC regulations prohibit the user change to other regulatory area. Most of the Netgear non-FCC devices are world-wide units, the key difference of the localization e.g. for the WAX202-100AUS does define the different leaflets (covering the different consumer rights, the support phone number, ...), the power supply, ...
