Many WAX630 access points can be managed by a Netgear wireless controller?

There are no more wireless controllers, the management for all newer WAC5xx and WAX6xx is done in the Netgear Insight cloud instead.

The Insight Instant Mesh functionality is not in use for all wired access points. Don't be confused about the mesh term. It would allow adding up to four non-Ethernet connected wireless AP satellites to one (resp. two redundant) wired access points, allowing to build one or many wireless islands around one resp. two wired "root" APs. https://kb.netgear.com/000061304/How-do-I-set-up-an-Insight-Instant-Mesh-network.
