The security options are configured according your needs and expectations for the two new wireless networks?

I guess you can say they are, but they just dont work. I am trying to figure out how to make them work before adjusting any changes.

There should be nothing that stops you from doing it as long as you don't touch the primary wireless SSID, isn't it?

What is stopping me is that no devices can connect to 2 WIFI SSIDs that are broadcasting, even though the 1st on the same AP works fine.

The reason why wireless clients "don't connect" is a variable target.
It can be caused the security configured on the wireless client does not matching the SSID config, or security methods and/or authentication schemes not being available, or - and here the wireless connection can be established so there is a workable L2 connection - and the clients don't have or don't get a valid IP config applied, probably due to the newer fancy "private" MAC by network connection and you might allow only white listed devices. So you see - there is much more than just an SSID visible on air.
....back to the question I had asked with my first reply.
