I just checked the one unit has been running reliably since Dec 30. The other unit had stopped functioning and needed reset. The logs do not show any "interesting" debug information. e.g. from just reset unit:

Thank you for your quick response,
Does the second unit after 'reset' is functioning normal?.
How did you reset the board.
Thanks,
Nivedita

Yesterday morning I notice a unit stopped working again. It looks like the unit just hangs. I can not log into it and need to power down / up to reset. Hence I can also not access the logs as the logs reset with the unit.
When a unit fails the connecting devices connect to the other unit, however as it is often further away either poor 5GHz band connection or 2.4GHz band connection occur, both of which are slower. The operating unit logs show no message of interest and operates as expected when the other unit hangs. Both my units are in AP mode connected at 2.5GB/s via ethernet CAT6 cable to a central 2.5GB/s switch.
The units hang intermittently after up upgrade to firmware v1.0.5.3. It seems to vary between 2 to 12 days between unit hangs. This problem did not occur before the firmware upgrade. The apparent poor Wifi performance seems to be as the coverage of the units are compromised when a unit hangs.

And ...nobody cares about this...old devices must die ? 🙂
