Netgear NAS forgot password
Hi - I have a Netgear 2-bay NAS drive on my network which I'm using as a backup for my main NAS. Problem is my login is not working for some reason. When I go to reset password, I get the spinning wheel and it does not progress.
How can I get into it???!
It is on the network, and is actively being used to back up daily.

What NAS do you have and firmware version?
Have you tried using a different browser when accessing the password reset URL? Is it doing the same thing? Can you also post a screenshot of how you are doing it.
If you really can't reset the password, the last option I think would be to set it back to default, You can do this by performing an OS-reinstall on your NAS. The procedure may vary depending on the NAS model you have but this will not affect your data. It will only reset settings such as password and network.
