Netgear WAX630E- Beacon Protection Feature

Question

Hi all,I have been using Netgear Triband access point Model Number - WAX630E. I noticed this while capturing that without enabling the beacon protection some of the beacons are being transmitted with protection. So i wanna know is there's any way to disable the beacon protection feature in netgear access point?

Probably not without disabling WPA3 where the beacon protection by a key was implemented (default on 6 GHz, so there its certainly a no-no). Comes the question why one does want this risky configuration?

If there is an option to enable and disable the beacon protection provided in netgear access point, it would be an added advantage for me to check the behaviour. That's the reason i asked about how to enable and disable it.

Secondly, i didn't enabled it. So i wanna know why the access point transmitting protection beacons (not in a regular interval)

Start with do disabled WPA3 (where it's a default requirement) so use WPA2 only..Needless to say WPA3 is the standard for 6 GHz.

I'm using the Netgear access point in 6GHz so I should use WPA3. In 2.4 and 5 bands the beacons are not protected even with wpa3 enabled. Im getting protected beacons only when i run in 6GHz. Is there any time interval for this transmission of protected beacons?

When I have it right, the control is available by SSIDUnder 802.11w (PMF), select one of the following radio buttons:• Mandatory. Requires devices to use PMF. Devices that do not support PMF cannot connect to the WiFi network. If you select WPA3 Personal authentication or WiFi enhanced open authentication, PMF becomes mandatory automatically.• Optional. Lets the access point automatically activate PMF based on whether devices can support PMF.• Disable. PMF is disabled for the WiFi network.
