thank you for taking the time to reply! I am assuming that by "2 devices" you mean my modem and the Netgear Access Point? If I simply change the channels for the Access Point in Insight app would that work (and not touch modem?). Again, thanks!

yes by the 2 devices I mean modem/access point.
you can just change it on the access point but you'd want to use some type of scanner to see what channels the modem is on. (plus others in your area).
I usually use the free version if inssider or winfi
