(non WIFI) Configuration of WAC104

Hi,

I installed a WAC104 at my cousin's with the following setup

1. WAC104 is connected to his router by a CAT6a S/FTP cable (router admin password not given to my cousin by his ISP => IP address of AP cannot be retrieved from the routers config pages)
2. WAC104 is connected to PC by a CAT6a S/FTP cable
3. Epson WIFI-only printer which should be connected to the AP

So far, so good. Apparently, both the PC as well as the AP receive an IP address via DHCP from the attached router. The PC runs an up-to-date Win10, and still has a working internet connection after the cables were connected to the AP.

According to the manual, now opening aplogin.net or aplogin.com should lead to the configuration page. However, both addresses (entered in a chromium on the PC) are redirected to a page stating that the configuration page MUST be opened on a WIFI enabled device?

On top, aplogin.net did not work on my smartphone (as the only WIFI enabled device (besides the printer)). Only aplogin.com had the correct behaviour. However, the configuration page is not optimized for smartphones, the 25 digit passphrase is not shown, so this is error prone, as you dont know if you typed all the digits correctly (2 times!), and for sure some other configuration options should be set as well.

The smartphone also showed an IP address (192.168.178.x), which seems to be the address of the AP in the network, but opening that IP address on the PC leads to the same redirection.

Why does the configuration only work on the smartphone? 

Is there a way to configure the AP in a browser running on the PC, where two large monitors are attached?

PS Using the IP address given in the manual (192.168.0.100) -  PC being connected/router being disconnected - did not work either!
