Re: WAX630E VLAN bug
All, I have a WAX625 AP on firmware version 10.8.5.7 and managed by Insight. I have confirmed the exact same issue with wireless devices being in different wireless vlans with having the ability icmp(ping) but not tcp or udp traffic between wireless vlans. I have connected directly to different ports on my ubiquiti switch to confim not a firewall issue.
Can anyone confrim if this doesn't happen if not insight managed? Looking forward to a response or a fix from netgear!

Issue is independent of the management.
Interesting to know, several vendors had been affected over the years by the very similar issue... cause was related to some hardware acceleration enabled, and also active on some Netgear AP models. This is something Netgear has to figure out with the chip vendor very likely
The problem does not affect the usual pure AP modes for connecting to the LAN or the Internet. That's why there are only very few reports of this issue.

Would it help if you knew more about the products that were connected to find a solution? If I connected a second network cable could I push the traffic to another vlan to fix the issue?
Is there another Netgear AP with a 4x4 in the WAX series that is not effected by this issue?

Can anyone comment if Firmware Version 10.8.6.3 fixes this issue?
Thanks

I can confirm the latest firmware 10.8.6.3 didn't fix the vlan bug issue. This firmeware fixed a memory leak. As result of this memory leak, some affected access points may have unexpectedly rebooted.
Ok thanks for confirming
