WAC124 Disconnected when Sync with NTP Server - SOLUTION !

Hi everyone,

I had the exact same issue as this topic : "WAC124 Disconnected when Sync with NTP Server - SECOND :D"

During many months, I also tried everything to solve this problem : update firmware, change the configuration, adjust the NTP settings, ...

I was about to replace the WAC 124 for a new unit when I discovered that an open-source firmware, called "openWRT", is available for it. I gave it a try. It took me 15 minutes to install the release 23.05.0, and then ...

It works ! Yes, no more disconnection !

The WiFi range also seems to be improved.

The WAC124's hardware plateform is really great. It was just a software issue.

This little gateway is really powerfull, much more than I expected.

Disclaimer : "openWRT" is not an official firmware. It may damage your WAC124. You must carefully read the documentation. The web interface is a little bit more complicated, with much more options. A good technical skill is required.
