After doing the full reset, I could not get in. But then I saw a message about a firmware update.

If you factory reset, then you should be able to access the units web page unit default log in. Check the user manual or quick installation guide on how to set up the unit from a fresh factory reset. Should be able to use a ethernet connected PC and web browser pointed to an IP address for the unit.

The WAC is 2019 era and is EoL:

Make sure FW is up to date.
Maybe faulty. Might try it at a different location.
