WAX610Y and WAC540 Bridged Network

Can't swap WAXY and WAC because WAXY is made for outdoors, and the WAC is inside, protected from weather. If I switch just the mode but not the physical location, I guess I could try that.
Can't use WAXY alone without the WAC. I mean, the main reason buying a WAXY is to extend the network from WAC within a building to across a driveway outside. WAXY can't talk to the internet without being connected to WAC.
I'll try switching channels. Currently, it automatically picks Channel 6 for 2.4GHz, Channel 36 for 5GHz, and Channel 149 for 5GHz High.
The CAT5e goes through a buried PVC pipe, but, yes, about 10 feet toward WAXY is exposed to the elements. I can replace those, but they're new cable, so should be fine for now until I replace it with one that is suitable for outdoors.
