wax615 vlan slow

Hi,

I'm trying to configure WAX615 and when there's two SSID, each assigned to different VLAN and connected to tagged port, it becomes slow.  without VLAN, it's about 500Mbps or so, but with VLAN, 50Mbps.

Does anyone have clue to fix this?

thanks in advance.

How are the switche(s) and network configured to handle multiple VLANs and IP subnetworks please? Is there a NAT router able to handle multiple VLANs and individual VLAN based networks/IP subnetworks?

  • not sure the reason but found the fix tentatively.

My config was three (management, office-wifi, guest-wifi) subnets plugged to MS510TXPP as untagged, one WAX615 connect as tagged for all, with Untagged VLAN unchecked and two SSID for office-wifi and guest-wifi.  This case, either SSID performs around 50Mbps.

But if set tp three (management, office-wifi, guest-wifi) subnets plugged to MS510TXPP as untagged, one WAX615 connect as tagged for office-wifi and guest-wifi and untagged for management, with Untagged VLAN checked and two SSID for office-wifi and guest-wifi.  This case, either SSID performs around 1Gbps.

That is, Untagged VLAN check box should be checked, meaning that management lan should be kept untagged.

Strange, but issue is tentatively resolved.
