WAX620 firmware issue causing pauses in requests? Firmware V10.8.12.9
I've noticed something with my WAX620 routers (all running V10.8.12.9) over the past week or so: wireless devices will sort of "hang" on some of their requests. Not every one, just some of them.
I'll load Google Drive on my phone, and it won't list the drive contents. It just...sits there. Then the next day it will work OK. It's across all apps, not isolated to any one app or service. It's happening across multiple Android phones, across multiple apps, every day.
I can find no common thing between them all except that they're wireless; I see no such slowdowns via my Ethernet-connected devices. And as soon as WiFi is turned off on the phone, the app in question works perfectly.
I've rebooted the APs and the modem. I've removed the wireless network from the phones and re-added it. It happens across both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz networks.
Is this a known issue with firmware V10.8.12.9? I can't recall when I installed it, but I believe it was recently.

Hi Brian. I tried doing that and got this error:
"Downgrading firmware is not allowed from local web UI in insight mode"
None of these are managed via the cloud service, just local.

I see now that I can't do a manual firmwate update so long as the device is linked to the cloud-based Insight system...even though the Insight system won't let me do anything useful without first paying for it. I managed to get logged into my Netgear list of registered products (the MFA does not work on macOS Edge, I had to use Chrome) and it seems all I can do is unregister the devices from my account. I see no way to remove them from Insights.
Do I really have to do that in order to install a previous version of the firmware? đ

How do I remove a device from my Insight account?
Yes, this is intentional...
Mind you, this does require a factory reset, and apply all configurations again manually.
