WAX620 ICMP issue
Hi all,
I am having an issue with a new installed system and my switch (GS728TPv2) auto disabling ports that my AP (WAX620) is connected to. My switch is disabling the port on a DOS ICMP packet attack. The thing is that when its disabling the port its at night with nothing connected to the AP or the switch other than the upstream router. I have increased the ICMP size to 9216 and disabled the ICMP DOS detection and I am still getting the same problem.
Thanks!

Hi water_guy
Is it possible for you to share with us the below information? I will dm my business email to you.
1. Screenshot of IP routing statistics from the switch (see section View the IP routing statistics in the user manual)
2. Switch logs (See section Manage and view the flash log). If you are using the Insight cloud, please fetch the device logs from there.
3. Packet captures from the switch ( see section Configure port mirroring)
4. Packet captures from the AP (see section Capture WiFi and Ethernet packets)

Hello water_guy
And welcome to the NETGEAR Community! 🙂
I strongly suggest you provide the logs and packet capture of your switch mirroring the port of the access point. You may check page 477 - 479 from the link below to be guided in configuring port mirroring:
Using CLI you may want to see page 88-90 from this link:

Have a lovely day,
