WAX620 transmission power information
I have searched for information about the transmission power of the Access Point WAX620 equipment, we are purchasing a number of devices to implement a WiFi network project.
In Peru they ask us for this information to request the approval of the equipment and to enter the country.
I would be grateful if you could provide me with this information so that I can use those equipment for which we have the best references in terms of performance and capacity.1 Reply
Multiple challenges ahead:
Find the appropriate test records (FCC and/or CE, whatever Peru is using), you might start from a public site like https://fccid.io/ (the WAX620 is here: https://fccid.io/NCC/CCAK21LP1470T9).
Second part of the challenge is that Netgear Insight is not available e.g. for Peru (just like the formal certification or validation), e.g. on What countries and currencies are Insight subscription plans available in? ... without the usability is limited.
Either way, I would evaluate the newer WAX6xx model variants, like the WAX615 and WAX625.
For both areas, I would contact Netgear in California for further assistance and paperwork access. Probably, fellow DavidGo, JulienR, and RichardJo (all from the Netgear Europe) can hopefully assist further on establishing the right contact for this business development to Peru.
