WAX630 & WAX620s
I have 3 APs. WAX 630 and 2 WAX620s all root APs meshed together. All year these have worked generally well with minor annoyances here and there. On Nov 6th, that all changed. it started with not...

They are root APs because Mesh Technology is set to Auto. This has always been the setup from day 1 without any issue. Nothing changed, so this really has no rhyme or reason.

Not what I have asked for my friend.
- dunnjoDec 05, 2023AspirantProvided you the setup. If they are all root APs, then yes, they are still wired back to other switches.

As you have no intention to operate any WAX6xx under a pure Netgear Insight Instant Mesh (==wireless backhaul), what's the point to keep the Auto mode enabled? I would suggest to disable it. To much marketing about Mesh systems?
No idea if this will magically resolve the problem that your WAX6xx cant reach the Insight cloud.
- dunnjoDec 06, 2023AspirantThe issue isn't any reaching the insight cloud. I can reach the cloud and manage the APs just fine. Perhaps you didn't read the issue entirely, not sure. They problem is some devices were connecting fine while others connected but had no Internet. The mesh also isn't relevant. I did some critter troubleshooting and discovered it was a firewall issue. Although the firewall configuration didn't change since I had them (the same settings I installed these APs) after testing it more, I discovered that's what read blocking devices after connecting to the WAPs.
