WAX630 firmware update failure
WAX630 AP will not upgrade firmware, whether insight or local managed mode. New out of box firmware
V9.5.1.20, shows Latest version available V9.5.4.3 but firmware update fails. When using a local .tar file it asks to select a proper firmware format. When extracted and selecting the .img file it gives the same error.
Anyone had the same issue, have any ideas?

Not aware of any changes, try a step by step update using the earlier released version. On the WAX630 download page, https://www.netgear.com/support/product/wax630.aspx#download -> View Previous versions.
Unpacking the tar archve isn't equired, you can't uplod the individual componenta. Just expand the zip.
Avoid using "strange" tools for unzipping.
Curious: What unzip, and what client OS and Web browser? Any internet security tools or a proxy in place probably interfering with zip and/or tar archives?
- When I locally upload the latest firmware file, attached is the error I get. I have used both an android phone running chrome and a windows 10 desktop, same result for each. Extracted like any other file using winrar.
- When clicking the "upgrade now" button in the actual access point UI.
