WAX630E and Orbi 960 series (RBKE963

Hi

I have a WAX630E root and one extender (also WAX630E) my question is cn I add a RBKE963 to the system? will it be manageble via insight? will it pair with each other?

Thanks for any info

  • The wired WAX630E will become a root automatically with the Mesh mode enabled.

No, complete different product class (Orbi Pro vs. consumer Orbi).

No, unless I'm wrong only using the Orbi App (and cloud access).

    No, reason as above.

What is the design intention for such a set-up?

      Thanks for your reply.

If I have the WAX630E as root unit and I have one WAX630E as one extender is there a tabletop access point that would work with this system?

WAX630E is access point to enlarge your wifi coverage, it doesn't have root function so far.

You should setup up router and have one more WAX630E AP to extend your wifi coverage. or consider Orbi Pro product (one router+ one Satellite).
