GS324v2 all port speed LEDs flashing amber

Hi all,

 

Can anyone help please?

I have a GS324v2 unmanaged switch on a home network which is only 6 months old, and was working fine.

Today, ALL of the Port Speed LED's are flashing amber, the Power light is flashing green and nothing appears to be working.

I have changed nothing on the network nor attached any new cables. I have disconnected the power cable, removed all the ethernet cables and reconnected just the power cable, but still the same.

Is there any way to reset it to the factory default, or similar? I can't seem to find out what the flashing lights mean, let alone obtain any help as that appears to be non-existent  3 months after the purchase date!

 

Can anyone help a damsel in distress? Thanks for any info.

#S I'm fearing the worst after only 7 months light use, to say I'm not impressed is an understatement!

    This switch does come with 3 years warranty, except for mainland China (check the SOHO Gigabit Unmanaged Switches 300 Series Data Sheet ). Head to https://my.netgear.com/ , ensure your switch is registered with it's serial number, view the product in the list, and follow the [Request hardware support] process.
