N204 Remove inactive volumes to use the disk. Disk #1,2,3,4. Firmware 6.10.10
Hi all,
I have an RN204 with 4x WD RED NAS 6TB drives installed.
Yesterday around 3 PM, my NAS crashed because I overloaded it (copying large files and running two Time Machine backups simultaneously).
I had to unplug the device to force a reboot. It restarted normally and initially everything seemed fine.
Then a message appeared saying a resync had started. I figured it was due to the crash.
However, after about an hour, the progress was still stuck at 0.00%, and I suspected the NAS had frozen again — so unfortunately, I unplugged it a second time.
That was a big mistake. After the next reboot, another resync message appeared for disks 2 and 4.
Shortly after, I received another message saying both disks had switched from "resync" to "online", which already seemed strange to me.
When I checked the volumes, I found the situation shown in the attached screenshot with the "Remove inactive volumes to use the disk" message.
All disks are listed as "online", but the volumes no longer appear to be mounted.
I already tried removing all disks and booting, as well as booting with only disk 1, or disks 1 and 3, and also without disk 4. Unfortunately, none of these attempts were successful.
Any ideas on how to get the device to recognize the volumes again would be greatly appreciated. I assume it might require connecting to the NAS via SSH and using Linux commands to remount the disks.
I also found this thread, but unfortunately, it doesn’t provide much useful information:

If needed, I can send the logs from yesterday via private message or cloud storage.
Ich konnte mein Problem zufällig mithilfe von SSH und einigen Befehlen aus dem Forum lösen, wodurch das NAS die Volumes wieder gemountet hat.

I was able to solve my issue by chance using SSH and a few commands I found here in the forum. As a result, the NAS has successfully remounted the volumes.
