Hallo liebe ReadyNas Gemeinde,ich bin auf der Sucher nach einer Anleitung (für nicht Linux-Spezialisten) wie ich am einfachsten auf meiner bestehenden ReadyNas104 OS 6.0.8 einenMySQL Server installieren und configurieren kann. Diese soll als zentrale XMBC-Datenbank dienen.Bin für jeden Hinweis & Link dankbar, wie gesagt ich habe leider nicht sehr viel Erfahrung im Linux/Unix Umfeld.Danke.

are you using 6.0.8 or 6.1.1 beta ?6.1.1 could solve the issue

are you using 6.0.8 or 6.1.1 beta ?

6.1.1 could solve the issue

I'vd checked for Updates via the web console, no updates available :-(

@mdgm: how stable are these betas?

Firmware upgrade -> OK
But still not possible to install to MySQL on my RN104: get the following error:
Application 'MySqlr6' cannot be downloaded at this time. Please check network connection and try it again later.

The same error I had before (my system ist online & have natwork connection), any suggestions?

[EDIT] Or is MySQL installed allready?? I've read some entries about this. How can I check this??

If you take the deb file in community Dropbox and install it from frontview ( app menu)
