Insight switches GC728XP & GC752XP
Hi, We are operating a couple of GC728XP and GC752XP Insight switches. As we need an extra unit, it appears that those models aren't available anymore, everywhere i looked around, i got the messa...
The nice feature of thee models is the "X" - the two SFP+ module garages (plus the two SFP). Unfortunately, there is no similar cloud managed model AFAIK. YeZ please.
Agree on this.
We're not using the "cloud" management feature though. The basic question is if we can still expect availability of those models later this year or not. My preference is to wait and buy the same model if possible (provided the waiting time is not too long).
But of course, if there will be no further production, then i'll have to figure out what could be a replacement model...

Swiss distributor does list availability mid of June "Sa 28.5. ... Di 14.6." on the GC728X, GC728XP, and GC752X.

Thanks for pointing out the EOL list. Unfortunately, it seems impossible to find still
a GC728XP anywhere. Moreover, there is no clear replacement product that fits the specs
AND the price level of the GC728XP switches. The gap to an equivalent M4300 is huge (almost 4 times the price) which is not what i planned for in our budget. We'll postpone
our purchase and hope to find an equivalent switch in a not so far future that sits in between the price of a GC728XP and a M4300...
