How to open logs? How to ping? - Insight
Netgear Insight. This must be a worst software of this kind that I've ever used.
So, the client gives me access to their router. He provides user name and password.
I access the URL but I cannot login, user name and password are incorreect. He is from Australia and he can log just fine with these credentials. But when I try from Serbia, wrong username and password.
Client then provides a TeamViewer session. He can login just fine. I'm logged to the account. I tried to change password as the existing one is 64 characters long, hoping that perhaps is the problem. It says password is incorrect. Lol. I logged out and I press on the eye icon, I can see the SAME password there. But I can't change it. Hm, ok.
I need to check VPN logs as the VPN is not coming up. Logs doesn't exist. Great. So I need to login from inside.
I'm logged to the router through insight and I'm on a PC through TeamViewer on the same LAN network. I can't login to the router interrnally. Wrong username and password.
Wow.
I can't even find Diganostics - like ping, traceroute.
So how can I troubleshoot site to site VPN if I don't have logs? Is there a way to check logs and ping from Cloud Portal.
I'm seriously disgusted with this software. It's all but 'easy' and intuitive. Unbelivable developers' work.
